Greenline Competition

Lines of infrastructure slice through suburban and urban communities carrying vital electrical current enabling modern life while towering in silent isolation on treeless manicured grass fields. Our proposal was for a bold strategy to insert clean green energy within these unused corridors while at the same time designing a new social realm of pathways for a new community program. Giant towering infrastructure becoming a beacon for clean energy and vibrant communities. The inserted wind turbines placed at an even cadence would become functional sculptures, generating electricity to both power the Greenline pathways and generate income from excess power generation to maintain and further develop the community.
